City of Vancouver: VanConnect

Kevin Broome

The City of Vancouver wanted to promote an app that they were launching that kept residents up to date on what was happening in their communities as well as allowing them to report issues such as pot holes or broken streetlights. Edelman jumped on the insight that this app, as its name implies, was about connecting the City and we set out to produce a video that aimed to build a “virtual” human chain across the various neighbourhoods in the Vancouver and, in the process, make a connection with the amazing people who live here.

Port Metro Vancouver: A Taste of Home

Kevin Broome

I wrote this piece, A Taste of Home, as part of the "Port Metro Vancouver Stories" series that shared real-life stories of people and activities happening in and around our port city. The idea behind the series was to celebrate the many benefits of living in a port city, including access to food and tastes from around the world. In this case, meet Asha, who is keeping her grandmother's recipes and traditions alive with help from Port Metro Vancouver.

Canadian Liver Foundation: It‘s Better to Know

Kevin Broome

According to the Canadian Liver Foundation, baby boomers are up to five times more likely to be infected by hepatitis C than other adults. In order to raise awareness, our team at Edelman, working with FuturePerfect.tv created this 45-second animated video that took a more humourous approach to this serious issue.

Port Metro Vancouver: Tryptich

Kevin Broome

One of the last projects I worked on at Edelman was a series of Facebook graphics for the Vancouver Port Authority.  They were nothing overly consequential, but I wanted to give them a unique and consistent feel and I enjoyed the challenge of telling a story within the confines of a 750 pixel space.
